National Science Day celebrations

 February 28 was designated as National Science Day (NSD) by Government of India in 1987. Since then this day is celebrated throughout the country with great enthusiasm. Every year celebrates National Science Day on 28^th February to commemorate the day on which Sir C.V.Raman discovered the Raman effect.
